After several attempts, I finally got to see my name in an actual published book. Not as an author but a technical reviewer of the SQL Server 2022 Performance Tuning book written by Grant Fritchey. I have been reading every version of this book since at least the second edition was released. I have always found something new to learn. This time was no exception as Grant decided to start over with a complete re-write. I still can’t believe he made me read an entire chapter on cursors. Anyway, it was an honor and privilege to be asked to be the technical reviewer and get all the commas in the right spot… Both in the text and sample code. I look forward to working on the next edition… in 2024.
