How to subscribe to SQLMCT.com in Outlook (Classic Outlook)
Step 1: Copy the RSS feed URL
Use this feed URL:

Step 2: Open Outlook (classic desktop version)
This works in Outlook for Windows (classic).
Step 3: Add the RSS feed
- In Outlook, go to Mail
- In the left navigation pane, right‑click RSS Feeds
- Select Add a New RSS Feed
- Paste this URL:
https://sqlmct.com/feed/ - Select Add
- When prompted, select Yes
Outlook will create a new folder under RSS Feeds and start pulling in new posts automatically
Step 4: Read new posts
- Each new SQLMCT post appears like an email message
- Click the item to read a summary, or select Read Article to open the full post in your browser
Optional (recommended): Sync RSS feeds automatically
To make sure Outlook keeps feeds updated:
- Select File – Options – Advanced
- Under RSS Feeds, enable:
- Synchronize RSS Feeds to the Common Feed List (CFL) in Windows
- Select OK and restart Outlook
This ensures feeds remain consistent across Outlook and Windows feed subscriptions
If you’re using the new Outlook
The new Outlook for Windows does not support RSS feeds. Use Feedly or Slack.
