November 2017 MBA Update

November MBA Update.

Here is my November MBA Update. I finally finished the third and final paper for my Ethical Leadership course. Which means I can get a head start on my final term, followed of course by the Capstone project. I’m going to start with Financial Management since it is the last course outside of my comfort zone. The IT and Data Driven courses are more in line with my expertise, which means I will probably mess them up on a grand scale.

The C206 Ethical Leadership course in Western Governors University’s MBA program focuses on helping graduate students understand and apply ethical frameworks, leadership responsibilities, corporate social responsibility, and compliance requirements within organizations.

The course is designed to help MBA students:

1. Examine Ethical Issues Managers Face

C206 explores common ethical dilemmas and provides frameworks for analyzing and resolving them.

2. Apply Ethical Theories in Leadership Contexts

Students evaluate the practical relevance of major ethical theories such as utilitarianism and deontology.

3. Understand Ethical Leadership & Codes of Ethics

You learn how leaders influence organizational ethics and how to analyze or enhance a company’s code of ethics.

4. Develop Ethical Policies and Programs

The course instructs students on creating organizational practices and programs that support ethics and social responsibility.

Students assess how organizations meet legal and compliance standards related to ethical behavior.
